REGISTRATION CATEGORIES

  1. INDEPENDENT DELEGATES — Students age 13-18 attending an academic institution the equivalent of a Canadian high school who chose to register for UTMUN independently, without affiliation to an attending delegation. These students compete entirely on their own.

  2. GROUP DELEGATES (DELEGATIONS) — Students attending as part of a team/delegation, which must be an academic institution the equivalent of a Canadian high school. Delegations must be registered with UTMUN by completion of the School Registration Form in order to identify a main contact (Faculty Advisor or Head Delegate). **Note: The maximum delegation size for UTMUN 2026 is 40 delegates.**

PAYMENT CATEGORIES

  1. INDEPENDENT DELEGATES — Must pay individually online through our Delegate Registration Form.

If you are a group delegate, on the School Registration Form, your FA/HD will select which payment form to use for all delegates attending with that delegation/school.

  1. GROUP DELEGATES, PAYING INDIVIDUALLY — If your FA/HD selected this option, you must pay individually online through our Delegate Registration Form.

  2. GROUP DELEGATES, PAYING BY CHEQUE/CREDIT — If your FA/HD selected this option, you will not be prompted to pay at the Delegate Registration Form. A separate invoice will be issued to your school when registration is complete.

UTMUN 2025 accepts payments by cheque or by credit, through Stripe. All invoices will be made in CAD. If there are any questions or concerns regarding payment, please contact external@utmun.org.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

GROUP DELEGATES

  1. Ensure your Faculty Advisor or Head Delegate has completed the School Registration Form. In 3-5 business days, your school will appear as an option under the Delegate Registration Form when prompted to indicate your delegation.

  2. Select your delegation under the “Delegation” field on the Delegate Registration Form.

  3. Depending on your delegations payment category, you may be prompted to pay to complete the Delegate Registration Form.

  4. Receive email confirmation that you’ve registered.

  5. Await your committee/character assignment by email from the Registration Team in up to 3 weeks after registering.

INDEPENdant delegates

  1. Select 'Independent Delegate’ under the “Delegation” field on the Delegate Registration Form.

  2. Pay the appropriate registration fee.

  3. Receive email confirmation that you’ve registered.

  4. Await your committee/character assignment by email from the Registration Team in up to 3 weeks after registering.

cancellation policy

  • Early Registration: Delegates who register during the early registration period are eligible for a 50% refund if they withdraw anytime before the end of the late registration period (January 6th, 2026).

  • Regular Registration: Delegates who register during the regular registration period are eligible for a 25% refund if they withdraw anytime before the end of the late registration period (January 6th, 2026).

  • Late Registration: Delegates who register during the late registration period are not eligible for a refund if they withdraw.

  • Any withdrawal past the late registration deadline of January 6th, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET will not receive a refund.
